About
Bambi Lake is owned and operated by the Baptist State Convention of Michigan, SBC. The facility provides worship, training and recreational opportunities for people of all ages in a beautiful, North-woods setting. The property consists of 240 acres of rolling woods encompassing a 20 acre, spring-fed lake. The former private hunting club lands were purchased in 1958.
Supported through the Cooperative Program, gifts and offerings and conference fees, Bambi Lake offers a variety of accommodations and can sleep as many as 270 guests. The campground is available for guests who want to stay in their own home away from home while attending conferences and retreats, as well as private get-a-ways. Don't camp? The Lodge and Cabins are available for personal retreats and family vacations too.
In addition to hosting conferences, Bambi is available to Southern Baptist churches and associations for retreats, workshops and other special events. Bambi Lake also hosts other groups.
Note: Bambi Lake can often host more than one retreat or conference group at the same time.
